identified opportunityGoing Beyond Passive Consumption
In a world where people are overloaded with content from numerous platforms, it makes sense that they become conditioned to consume information passively, paying less attention in a bid to get to the next thing.
As a result, more people spend less time actively thinking and engaging with content. Sadly, the same applies to online gospel presentations.
I am prayerfully exploring the possibility of building an interactive presentation of the gospel that requires active user engagement, so that many people may process what they see and make better informed decisions about their submission to Christ.
growth strategyMore of the Word
People spend lots of time on devices, mostly using secular apps. While some of these apps were not primarily built for harm, it's undeniable that they, many times, bring people down, rather than edify them. We've got a spike in problems like inferiority complex, anxiety and depression, etc due to increased use of tech. Worse still, I have seen demonic apps (and games) built for even teens, e.g Cult of the Lamb
I'm not sure how successful we'd be if we resolved to take tech from people. That's not the way to go! How about we build more applications that actually edify people?
I have a burden to build applications that help people spend more time in God's word. Think of apps that walk people through personal Bible Study, or help them meditate on the Word more. And who says they have to be boring? I've got games in the pipeline as well!
