Programmed for Ministry by the Programmer of programmers
my storyFreed by Christ to live for Him!
Though I could recite the gospel from a young age, I was broken under the weight of moralism and people-pleasing, wearing different masks depending on my environment. I was essentially a chameleon!
BUT... the Lord, through His word and His people, opened my eyes to see that the gospel means freedom and rest in the work of Christ our King.
Now I seek to live one life in submission to our triune God, as I trust Him to make me more like Christ.
my callingto use my skills all for His glory!
God initially used people to hint towards my giftedness for ministry, and then He started to plant seeds of ministry by giving me ideas and showing me needs.
Although I ignored initial nudges, God relentlessly dialled up the desire to serve Him directly with my skills, and today, I seek to invest all of my being in that.
Below are some of the ways I believe God has gifted me to serve Him.
my communitynot alone on this journey
Though I have this tendency to try to do things solo, God has been so gracious as to remind me time and again that His people are designed to be and to function in community. He surrounded me with like-minded people who are committed to using their gifts to serve Him, and I am so grateful for them.
Within the tech space, I have enjoyed volunteering with Upstream
and Missional Digerati , both of which have a heart to redeem tech to make the gospel more accessible, especially to the unreached. I intend to continue volunteering with them, and to keep myself accountable to them, for the forseeable future, even when I work on church-centric projects.----
Would you love to join me and be a part of this journey? It would be a pleasure to partner with you in what God is doing through tech in this season.
