Programmed for Ministry by the Programmer of programmers

my storyFreed by Christ to live for Him!

Though I could recite the gospel from a young age, I was broken under the weight of moralism and people-pleasing, wearing different masks depending on my environment. I was essentially a chameleon!

BUT... the Lord, through His word and His people, opened my eyes to see that the gospel means freedom and rest in the work of Christ our King.

Now I seek to live one life in submission to our triune God, as I trust Him to make me more like Christ.

my callingto use my skills all for His glory!

God initially used people to hint towards my giftedness for ministry, and then He started to plant seeds of ministry by giving me ideas and showing me needs.

Although I ignored initial nudges, God relentlessly dialled up the desire to serve Him directly with my skills, and today, I seek to invest all of my being in that.

Below are some of the ways I believe God has gifted me to serve Him.

I love building apps! I particularly enjoy turning good UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect applications. I'm particularly happy to be able to build cool apps that help teach people the gospel, and help them grow in their faith.
By God's grace, I can play the keyboard and the trumpet by ear, and I enjoy playing the keyboard especially. I am looking to write theologically sound music to share the gospel and edify people at some point in the future. I could use some help with producing though, so if you're a producer, hit me up!
I have enjoyed learning under amazing teachers of God's word - not just what the Bible says, but how to study it for myself. It gladdens my heart to see people grow in their knowledge and love of God through the Bible, and I'd love to help more people do that!

my communitynot alone on this journey

Though I have this tendency to try to do things solo, God has been so gracious as to remind me time and again that His people are designed to be and to function in community. He surrounded me with like-minded people who are committed to using their gifts to serve Him, and I am so grateful for them.

Within the tech space, I have enjoyed volunteering with Upstream

and Missional Digerati , both of which have a heart to redeem tech to make the gospel more accessible, especially to the unreached. I intend to continue volunteering with them, and to keep myself accountable to them, for the forseeable future, even when I work on church-centric projects.
